Studio Growth Engine

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Studio Growth Engine, a desktop social media content management application used to connect TikTok accounts and publish short-form video content to them. Studio Growth Engine is operated by the same team that builds Didi, but it is a separate product from the Didi mobile app — if you're looking for Didi's own terms, see usedidi.com/terms instead. By installing, connecting a TikTok account to, or otherwise using Studio Growth Engine, you agree to these Terms.

What Studio Growth Engine does

Studio Growth Engine lets an authorized operator connect one or more TikTok accounts — specifically, accounts belonging to apps and games we own and operate — via TikTok's official Login Kit, and then upload and publish short-form video content to those connected accounts. It is a content management and publishing tool, not a public social network, and it does not offer TikTok account access, publishing, or any other functionality to members of the general public.

TikTok integration and permissions

Studio Growth Engine connects to TikTok using TikTok's official Login Kit OAuth flow. When an account is connected, we request the following TikTok scopes, and only these:

• user.info.basic — basic public profile information (e.g. display name, avatar, TikTok user ID) for the connected account, used to confirm which account is connected and to display it correctly inside the app.
• video.upload — permission to upload video files to the connected TikTok account's private upload inbox.
• video.publish — permission to publish an uploaded video directly to the connected TikTok account's feed.

We never request, and Studio Growth Engine never accesses, a connected account's direct messages, follower/following lists, or any TikTok content or data outside the scopes listed above. Use of TikTok's API through Studio Growth Engine is also subject to TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which apply independently to any account connected to Studio Growth Engine and to any content published through it.

Authorized use

Studio Growth Engine is intended for use only by people we've specifically authorized to manage the TikTok presence of our own apps and games. You agree to use it only to upload and publish content you have the rights to publish, to keep any credentials or device access to the application secure, and not to use it to connect a TikTok account you are not authorized to manage.

Content and ownership

Video content uploaded and published through Studio Growth Engine remains the property of its original owner (typically the app or game it was produced for). Studio Growth Engine itself claims no ownership over content passed through it — it is a publishing pipeline, not a content repository or licensor.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Studio Growth Engine to upload or publish unlawful content, content that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines, or content you don't have the rights to publish, and not to attempt to use it to access a TikTok account or data beyond what you're authorized to manage.

Availability and changes

Studio Growth Engine is an internal tool that may change, be updated, or have its availability adjusted at any time as our own publishing needs change. We may suspend or revoke a connected account's access — including by disconnecting it from TikTok — at any time, particularly to comply with TikTok's own policies or to protect the security of a connected account.

Disclaimer

Studio Growth Engine is provided "as is." Publishing to TikTok depends on TikTok's own platform and API being available and functioning as documented, which is outside of our control.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Studio Growth Engine after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
